Hard to believe that one year ago today you came into our world! We are so thankful for you!

Here are some photos from our party- we gathered at Bassett Creek Park near our house- with many friends and family.

It is so crazy to think that almost a year ago we first met this little man.

Here are a few photos I took while we watched the kids play at the water fun day at Valley Place.

City of Crystal water fun day!

Last Friday we were walking around the park near our house- Valley Place Park, and saw the fire trucks. We got nearer and saw that it was the annual water fun day. We are often out of town for this, and last year I remember it was cancelled because of rain. It is so much fun, I wish I could go down the slides. They make 3 huge slip n' slide type slides down the hill- then bring in the fire trucks to pump the water up the hill - and instant fun for kids!

We had fun watching- can't wait until next year- they had a small slip n' slide right by park house for kids under 5.

Brent's rooster tail- funny thing- when he started off by the dock, Henry jumped in after him, and started swimming behind! I had to call him back to shore!

ahh skiing, I have missed you- all last summer I didn't don the skis once- and I missed it- i was tempted a couple times by the perfect water, but with a very prego belly I stayed on shore. So, this summer I tried again, and got up on the first try! I had two skis though- next time back to just one! :) hopefully it will go as well.

Gus was tuckered out! He usually isn't the easiest napper- but after playing in the sand/water and walking around all the lawn furniture- he crashed and slept for awhile in the towels!

We had awesome weather at the lake- went to dinner, got blizzards and played mini golf- a very fun night out together!

My mom and dad got an ice cream cake to celebrate after lunch- yummy on a hot/ humid day!

Gus is loving playing peekaboo! It is so fun to watch him grow- can't believe he is almost a year old!

The Murray's were at the lake for a week around our anniversary. It was so fun to see them and catch up. Gus met Gus... :) and Emily and Ben made it as well.

summer larson/johnson birthday party!

We gathered at our house for a birthday party to celebrate my mom, Alyssa, Aunt Kris and Uncle Jack -Happy Birthday everyone!

Ahhh summer time and a deck party- so much fun to be outside!

Twins Game! July 19, 2010

Twins game! having fun with Aunt Jenna and Uncle Aaron! Thanks for taking these pictures Jenna! I brought my camera, pulled it out to take a photo, and the SD card was still at home in our computer!

We went to the Twins game on Monday night. It was a beautiful evening- perfect for outdoor baseball. This was Gus' 3rd Twins game- first one in Florida during spring training, one in May with Sonja and Chad, and then tonight with Aaron and Jenna. I enjoy watching the game, but I like to chat with people during it- or if we are home listening to one on the radio I like to knit or something else. So over the weekend there was a game on that Brent was listening to, and it was over in just over 2 hours... well I said to Brent that I would sure like to go to a game that lasts only 2 hours! Well, this game that did not happen- it was over after 11:00~ we left at the bottom of the 8th. Gus was a trooper- playing with all of us- and enjoying watching everything. But, as soon as he hit the car seat, he was sound asleep! And, luckily this time he was able to be transfered to his crib well.

Gus is 11 months old!

WHAT!!! one more month until he is one year old! CRAZY!

Lately Gus has been cracking us up with funny laughs and faces, this is one of them.

He giggles, and scrunches up his nose- so funny

He kinda looks mad, but really he is giggling through that funny face!

fun at the cabin- July

Gus is loving to walk around- he will take a few steps here and there- but mostly loves to hold onto something, or someone. It was a beautiful day last weekend up at the cabin, but really windy off the lake, so I pulled out this little hat for Gus= Brent called it his helmet. :)

We even had his sweater on, in the shade of the tree with the wind, it was chilly for him!
