Spring Break in Florida!

We found this fun boat- and Gus loved it! It also helped that the pool temp was around 85!

We had nice walks each evening after dinner.

We went to a Twins game- They played the Florida Marlins in Jupiter. It was a beautiful day- fun for Gus' first game- after the game, they gave us a ball- and it happened to be from the Metrodome.... it will be fun for Gus to have and play with someday!

yeah.... a trip away together! We left on March 10- to hang out and visit with my parents while they are down there. Brent stayed one week- Gus and I stayed two. We went to the beach, played in the pool, went on walks, played at a park by the condo, went to a Twins game, and went on a boat ride through the intercoastal waterway in Fort Lauderdale. It was a great time relaxing together!

Bradley class reunion..

And the babies meet! Last spring we took Bradley Birth classes- (we recommend them to anyone who is pregnant!) I learned so much, and I know Brent did too- the Bradley Method is a natural childbirth way of labor- "Husband Coached Childbirth" by Dr. Robert Bradley is the fundamentals. I could go on and on about the Bradley Method- Brent and I are thankful for the classes, our awesome teacher Karin (also our doula at our birth) and our classmates. We had a little reunion, and five of the 8 couples were able to make it. So much fun to see the babies!

Gus at 6 months- first solid foods...

Gus is six months- and we thought it would be a good time to start solids- we began with bananas- and he seemed to like them- next avocados... and water in a cup! How can he already be half a year old?

At Justus' birthday!

We are so thankful to be near all of our family! It is fun to get to see both grandparents often- at family gatherings and just hanging out.

Gus at 5 months...

It's so fun watching Gus grow- he is rolling over, and loving books, and toys, the jumpers, watching the dogs- and us. :) It is a true joy!

Good times with dear friends- and now with our babies! What a gift!

It's funny, in highschool we always dreamed about being moms someday-

and hanging out- and now we hang out, and are playing with our little ones.

We don't get much conversations in- but it's all worth it!

Winter is.... time to hang out with friends!

Good times with good friends- Pat and Robin and her boys came over to my mom's house. It was so much fun to hang out, and Torve and Gus are so close in age! It will be fun to watch them grow up!
