Bell Museum Field Trip!

On Tuesday, January 11 Josie, Heidi and I decided our play date would be at the Bell Museum.

I hadn't been there for years, and on a fieldtrip with my old job teaching at Bethlehem. So, I was excited to go back and explore with Gus and the others.

Josie went to the U, so she had the great idea of taking the bus so we wouldn't have to worry about parking on campus. I was all for that! And, a fun addition to our field trip!

So, Josie and and I planned to meet at the Louisiana park and bus stop at 9:30. Gus and I left our house at 9:15- and on a snowy morning there was lots of traffic- we were late! I was so worried that I messed our bussing plans- but as I pulled into the lot I saw Josie and Karl and they were late too! whew!!! we checked the schedule and saw that the next bus was in an hour- but we had fun waiting in the shelter!

We wandered around the museum looking at all the animals and then went to the touch and feel room. So fun the the boys- animals, stuffed and living (snakes and turtles) and books and crayons abound! They didn't want to leave this area!

We were trying to get the boys to stand under the moose- oh well, better luck next time!

There was a fun train set they enjoyed as well!

Fun times at the Swedish Institute! We met up with
